Formal / Organised Version

Natural / Casual Version

A Quiet Speaking Goal
Aim for 4–6 connected sentences. That is usually enough to sound confident, clear and prepared without sounding memorised.
Part 2: Speak
Use formal starters when you want to sound organised. Use natural starters when you want to sound relaxed.
Natural: Honestly... / For me...
Natural: Mainly because...
Natural: Like... / One time...
Natural: Plus... / Another thing is...
Hints & Speaking Tips
Do not stop too early
After your first sentence, add one reason, one example and one detail.
Sound natural
You do not need perfect language. Clear, connected ideas are more important.
Upgrade gently
Use one adjective, one adverb or one extender to make the answer richer.
